Judge extends block on videos from anti-abortion group

Source: The Hill

A federal judge in California has extended a temporary restraining order for at least several weeks against an anti-abortion group that released several videos showing Planned Parenthood officials discussing the transfer of fetal tissue and organs.

U.S. District Judge William Orrick on Monday extended his emergency order against the Center for Medical Progress until an Aug. 27 hearing, according to The Associated Press, blocking the release of some additional videos.
Orrick sided with the National Abortion Federation's claims that it and members would face harassment, intimidation and violence if secretly recorded videos from its annual meetings were released, according to the AP.

A lawyer representing the Center for Medical Progress said it would abide by Orrick's order, noting the materials barred from release in the ruling represented "a small percentage" of its overall collection.

they would have to act responsibly and they would have to put 2+2=4 together and they just don't want to do that to act responsibly.
This present media conglomeration has no interest, if it doesn't generate a revenue base, until something happens----------------then, they can infomercial it out for revenue, with breaking news--------------in other words they are lazy.

How many "news" organizations have had subject matter on let's say Meet the Press with Chuck Todd a right wing lackey of NBC or State of the Union, or Face the Nation--------------you don't----------they put a face up to present a the talking points read out on what the republicans want to do.

They could spend an entire half hour of investigative journalism on this group and others to expose them for what they really are -------------and they don't-------------instead the public get's a right wing hypocrite governor from New Jersey saying that he would punch the face of the NEA union teachers by a moderator that would not ask him about the CMP and the doctored videos-----------nope

Honk------------for a political revolution Bernie 2016

Why not just take the press releases from the interested party and just lift the copy from one of those and Bingo! There's your story. All set up for you. Digging down into it to try and vet it, or make sure you're not just passing along some propaganda? Meh, too much work.

simply because most people are anti abortion not all as I found out. Basically to fight this on it's merits we should be funding PP more with more push on avoiding abortion. Birth control (hello Hobby Lobby... which supports forced abortion smh) housing or helping people with $$$$ issues to pay for adoption etc no adoption red tape etc. Main thing is to point out the 38 companies out there most of them are Conservative companies (Exxon??? ) and that those companies fund abortions. Not tax payer money.

I'm in a tricky spot knowing people from both sides. Which happens when one parent is Republican and one is a Democrat.

As for the above question in 1. it's corporate media. with 38 companies tied to PP... heck if they wanna go after something that might cut them off. I just had to fend off some more fake memes this morning on facebook.

Frankly if the Anti Christ came along these people would be the first to believe anything he says.. frankly I think thats (being a Christian) will happen and many of them are friends.

videos. on the local news this morning not a word about how the videos were doctored, just a slight mention that planned parenthood says they did nothing illegal.

i guess if the republicans get their way we will really be another 3rd world country.

7. Brainwashing requires that details of the source of the propaganda be avoided as much as possible.

The idiots most prone to propaganda are simply not curious enough to ask and would rather just mindlessly join the herd and actually prefer not to ask questions....sometimes I think America really does need Obama FEMA camps.
