Man gets life sentence for impregnating daughter

Danny Richard Minor, 40, was sentenced Friday to life in prison without parole after being found guilty Thursday of impregnating his own daughter and sexually abusing several other children.

Minor was found guilty on three first-degree felony counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 years of age and two first-degree felony counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to a news release from the the Collin County District Attorney’s Office.

Minor molested three children while living in Plano from 2002 to 2009, with one child coming forward in 2009. But conflicting statements halted any action by detectives against Minor at that time, according to the release.
