OIC condemns Israeli desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Source: Arab News

JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Sunday urged the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to take action against “repeated and dangerous Israeli violations of holy sites.”
In a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the 56-nation group made the call after violence erupted on Sunday as Israeli security forces attacked Palestinians protesting access by Jews into the compound on an annual day of Jewish mourning.
OIC Secretary-General Iyad bin Ameen Madani denounced the “incursion into and desecration of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque by groups of extremist settlers under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces” as “an act of provocation and blatant violation of relevant international resolutions and instruments.”
He said the settlers blocked access to the mosque and “savagely attacked” the worshippers in the mosque's compound.

They literally believe that allowing a Jewish person to be near the mosque (not even actually inside of it) is an act of provocation.

Even though the area is also religiously significant to Jewish people.

Do you even know what happened? This particular article is a little short on the specifics.

Maybe try this one:

Dozens of Palestinians clash with Israel Police at Temple Mount

After a few months of relative calm at the Temple Mount compound, violence was reported at the Jerusalem site Sunday morning, with dozens of Palestinians youths barricading themselves at the Al Aqsa Mosque and clashing with Israel Police forces sent to the scene.

During the altercation, police eventually stormed the mosque itself. An unknown number of officers were wounded, and three East Jerusalem residents were arrested for allegedly throwing rocks at Border Police.

Jerusalem police said they received information about Arab youths barricading themselves within the mosque overnight Saturday to confront police and prevent visits to the holy site on Tisha B’Av – the Jewish day of remembrance for the destruction of the First and Second Temples.

According to the police, the youths - a number of whom where masked - collected stones, wooden planks, fireworks and firebombs, and even set up makeshift barricades to prevent the mosque's doors from being shut and to allow them to confront the police.

But are you saying you believe The Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem is in Palestine?

If that is the case then the Palestinians ought to ensure that Jews are allowed to visit the holy sites that are located therein, such as the Temple Mount.

Do you believe Israeli Jews should not be allowed to pray at the Western Wall either?

of aggression have consequences for the aggressors. Or hadn't you noticed? You obviously want the Israelis to be the single exception in history - whereby they should act as if they were the losers. Not very bright. The so-called Palestinians (Jordanians, actually), together with their Arab brethren, tried to destroy the Jews and continue to do so. It's their stated policy.

Wake up. Normal, everyday geopolitics is mad and bad enough without fabricating outrages. If there is any outrage it is that people like you have been using them to their immense harm as 'patsies' to assuage your own bile against the Jews. Likewise the Arab nations to restore their honour, after their defeats in their wars against Israel. You have the gall to ask me if I have no shame. You evidently don't now the meaning of the word.

Apparently to you and the OIC, the mere presence of Jews on the Temple Mount (on Tisha B'av no less) is a desecration. If you don't already know that's where the Western Wall also is, you have no business trying to discuss this issue. And telling people they have no shame because they think Jews should be allowed to be seen in Jerusalem just makes you look an imbecile. Your behavior on this thread is repulsive but I'm of the mind of letting everyone see you for what you are.
