Poll: Walker leads in Iowa, followed by Trump

Source: Politico

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is still out in front of all Republican contenders in a new Monmouth University poll out Monday surveying likely Iowa GOP caucus-goers.

But in second place is Donald Trump, whose remarks on Arizona Sen. John McCain’s military service do not appear to have had a material effect on his standing in the Hawkeye State, or at least not yet. In fact, plurality of those surveyed (47 percent) said they have a favorable view of the multibillionaire candidate, while 35 percent said they do not.

" In fact, plurality of those surveyed (47 percent) said they have a favorable view of the multibillionaire candidate, while 35 percent said they do not."

The proof revealed here is that stupids love stupids. They feel a kinship for folks who talk as ignorantly as they do. Not all that hard of a concept to comprehend!

3. Likely GOP primary voters in Iowa are about as racist and paranoid as Trump, so he will do well,

just like the Bachmann's and Huckabee's, Santorum's and Mr. 999 did before Trump...the elephant in the room is the ridiciculous primary election system that elevates The Crazies to national status.

So, you court the Crazies or lose the race in the wilds of Fox-infested Iowa and NH GOP voters, voters that are the opposite of the general American public, the 99% not voting.

a Trump presidency or even nomination. When the
Koch brothers decide that the time has come to
put a stop to him, they will do so. They want first of
all to stop Jeb, and Trump serves that purpose.

Walker is the guy that worries me. Thom H. called him
very Nixonian, and I agree with that assessment.

Gov. Walker should be very afraid of annoying Mr. Trump.

Walker is the real threat due to his selling his soul to the Kochs. He's ignorant enough that the teabaggers will love him and smart enough to do everything humanly possible (illegal, who cares?) for the 1% and to screw everyone else. This person is truly venal.

It's been decided. They got the GOP judges to give him legal cover for a reason. Jeb is probably intended to be his VP.
