PGA moves event from Trump course

The Professional Golf Association and Donald Trump have reached an agreement to move a Grand Slam event away from the Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles.
In separate statements, Trump and the PGA on Tuesday said the decision was mutual.
“Due to the controversy surrounding statements made by Mr. Trump having to do with illegal immigrants pouring into the United States from Mexico and other parts of the world, Mr. Trump does not want his friends at the PGA of America to suffer any consequences or backlash with respect to the Grand Slam of Golf,” a statement from Trump’s political team said.
The PGA is the latest business to part ways with Trump following the remarks he made last month about undocumented immigrants being criminals and rapists.
