IS reenters Syria Kurdish battleground town Kobane

Source: AFP

Beirut (AFP) - Islamic State group fighters reentered the Syrian Kurdish battleground town of Kobane on Thursday, detonating a suicide bomb and battling Kurdish forces, a monitoring group said.

"IS detonated a suicide bomb in the area near the border crossing with Turkey, killing at least five people," said Syrian Observatory for Human Rights director Rami Abdel Rahman.

"Fierce clashes erupted afterwards in the centre of the town and there are bodies lying in the streets," he added, without giving a specific toll.

He said fighting was still raging on Thursday morning.

I know they hate the Kurds but all this stuff is happening on their borders. Are they naive to think ISIS won't try to commit their so-called jihads in thier country?

Ask yourself: Why aren't there any ISIS attacks in Turkey?

The Turks hate the Kurds, they also want to get rid of Assad. They are much more concerned with interfering in the internal affairs of their neighbor, Syria, than with opposing ISIS.

Hell, they won't even let the Western coalition use air bases near Iraq.

The Turks are bad actors in all of this.
