Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal To Make 'Major Announcement' About 2016 Race On June 24
Source: Huffington Post
WASHINGTON (AP) Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, a possible GOP presidential candidate, will make a "major announcement" on the 2016 race on June 24 in New Orleans.
That's according to Jindal's chief political adviser, Timmy Teepell.
Jindal had announced a campaign exploratory committee on May 18.
If Jindal decides to run, he'd join a crowded Republican primary that already includes nine major candidates, with more expected to join the fray.

Piyush the Exorcist is yet another longshot, no-chance-of-being-nominated candidate, joining the clown bus to draw money from his rube backers. His announcement would bring the field to 10, and that still leaves Jeb, Walker, Christie and god knows who else to announce.
I'm personally hoping for a Trump & Alan Keyes infusion of comedy.
The GOP, where "running for president" is an acceptable answer for the occupation line on your taxes.
None of these guys have any intention of being president, but the FOX News,/talk radio/book tour circuit has made them all want to get in on the rightwing celebrity grifting scheme.

"Jindal had announced a campaign exploratory committee on May 18."
If he's announcing a run, I guess we can all assume that the feedback from the "exploratory committee" was (a) extremely faulty, or (b) is being ignored.

(5,105 posts)Never heard of him. Was he with Goofus (?) or Gallant? He wanted to be with Gallant, who was so cute and strong and had nice pecs and impeccable manners. He knew how to be polite, sigh.
Or was it Beavis and Butthead? Butthead suits Jindal, smack dab in "the stupid party."

(89,252 posts)when things are so spread out they don't need much to win. they just need a little better than the others.
remember Romney and McCain mostly won by just getting enough to win with having enough opponents to spread the rest of the votes which in many cases where more than romney and mccain got.

(5,105 posts)Just sayin'. Poor Piyush. He should have chosen to name himself after a John Waters character, maybe Cotton. Then he could claim he was named after Cotton Mather. Or maybe he could rename himself after Josh Duggar, who will never be able to hold a job again, thanks to his parents.

(239 posts)changed his name to Bobby.
Did he ever change it legally?
Republicans would never run him for the WH. Too dark.
Although he did well in Louisiana, George Allen pegged him as "macaca".

and, no, he never legally changed his name. Still Piyush.
