Source: AP
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) Authorities say about 50 people in a Salt Lake City homeless shelter were taken to hospitals for suspected food poisoning.
A Fire Department spokesman says EMTs responded to the St. Vincent DePaul shelter Sunday night after receiving reports of multiple people vomiting. Jasen Asay says a bus was brought in to take many of them to different hospitals for treatment.
None of those sickened was in critical condition.
Asay says the Health Department is investigating. It's not clear what caused them to fall ill.

(15,882 posts)corporate killers is quite long.
So my choice is between food cooked in a kitchen where someone cares, vs where someone is out to make a profit, wherein the workers are taught that they are of the lowest importance, who are then asked to serve us.
I am not sure which one really gives me worse odds.
