will also give their employees a raise? If those companies dont then they risk losing some of their workers to their rivals.

But this will just embolden Republicans who will say see we don't need to raise the minimum wage let the marketplace dictate. I can literally hear them say that.

the minimum wage should be stripped from congress and given to the CBO and let the CBO adjust it based on their forecasts of the economy but if that was done I am sure the republicans would still find some way to pervert it eventually like they have other things.
