Judge rejects Christie's pension payment cuts.

Source: northjersey.com

A Superior Court judge has ruled that Governor Christie must make the larger pension payment he agreed to before cutting $1.6 billion and has ordered him to work with lawmakers to meet that obligation.

Mercer County Superior Court Assignment Judge Mary C. Jacobson issued her ruling Monday, one day before Governor Christie is set to deliver his budget for the next fiscal year, which begins July 1.

In the 130-page decision Jacobson cites Christie’s own endorsement of the state’s bipartisan pension legislation, noting that he touted it as his “biggest governmental victory” and one that would “save” the pension system.

has once again reared it's ugly head! Mike "the Mouthpiece" Drewniak comes up with the lamest excuses! So, now one of Christie's "crowning achievements" seems to be going down the tubes. Tell me again, just what has he done for (as opposed to "to&quot New Jersey?

how does he explain that turning the pension funds over to his high school buddy Mr. Grady, cost the pension fund about $4 billion in lost revenue and increased management fees? He's a fiscal genius! A lot of the pension fund issues could have been avoided if that $4 billion was available.

the comments in the thread is such a disturbing thing, especially the comments from one person (James Early) in particular!

felt completely comfortable posting those comments under his actual name! He must be a real blast at parties. There's definitely an element among the Bergen Record's commentators that are rallied to Christie's defense in an organized manner. The more damaging the story, the more you see certain defenders. Mr. Early, on the other hand, seems to have been recruited from a Klan rally. Avert your eyes from the comments-it's like passing a gruesome accident.

This judge was appointed by Christine Whitman, a Republican who did more to fuck over N.J. finances than Crisco has. However, give Krispy time. He still has two years to go.

will he divert it? And where is the nearly two years' worth of interest accrued?
