Colombia prostitute reveals $800 cash row with US agent
Source: BBC News
A woman at the centre of the US prostitution scandal in Colombia asked for $800 (£500) to spend the night with a US agent, the New York Times reports.
The woman - who describes herself as an escort, not a prostitute - told the paper the agent reneged on their deal, instead offering only $30.
That sparked a row that blew the lid off a night that saw 20 women taken back to the US hotel in Cartagena.

(11,138 posts)If you have a security clearance ANY form of adultery is verboten, prostitute or not, as it opens you up as a potential blackmail target. When you hold a clearance like this as a condition of employment there are a great number of things which may be technically legal for most people to do but which will get your clearance yanked immediately.

(6,837 posts)isn't for you. It has nothing to do with prostitution in Colombia. It has everything to do with representing the country, and not embarrasing the President and the country like they did.

Maybe there was language barrier. Or maybe she was negotiationing on behalf of all twenty of the women.
Still, there's something fishy about the whole thing -- am I supposed to believe that this is some gigantic coincidence that at least a dozen of our Secret Service agents were that easily corrupted? I'd like to know a bit more about these women...

A women next to a very nice sports car called hey and my buddy, thinking she had a car problem walked over. He asked her what was up and she said that he could have a "date" with her for $150. He looked at her for a moment and replied, you're very beautiful and desirable, but I can't think of anything either of us could do that would be worth $150.
