GOP Rep. Walter Jones: Republicans Have 'Constitutional Duty' To Impeach President Obama
Source: Right Wing Watch
Rep. Walter Jones, R-N.C., is upset that congressional Republicans are using legal action and threatening to cut funding to the Department of Homeland Security in their effort to undermine President Obamas executive actions on immigration. Instead, Jones said yesterday, they should pursue impeachment. Jones told Newsmax host J.D. Hayworth, a former Republican congressman, that members of Congress have a constitutional duty to reprove and penalize Obama for allegedly violating the Constitution: I said that to John Boehner when Mr. Obama made this presidential order, I said why dont we follow the Constitution, in the Constitution, articles of impeachment? Im sorry, I dont like the idea of impeaching anyone, but for goodness sakes when you make those kinds of executive decisions to the detriment of our country, of telling people who came here illegally, Youre now illegal because I just signed an order, thats why were in the situation were in now, we dont follow the Constitution.

(51,122 posts)I mean John Boehner, of course.
Where do orange people come from anyway?

(42,641 posts)in Northern Ireland. Is Boehner an Irish name?
There are also a lot of oranges in Florida and California. He could be from one of those states.
If he is an orange, is he the type that is filled with alcohol?
Orange you glad I ran out of orange ideas?

(429 posts)Jones is the nut who declared French Fries were Freedom Fries- because the French didn't support our Iraq Policy. The fact that this old cretin is still in office reveals much about us.

(50,561 posts)Anyone want to tell me what selling 2,512 TOW antitank missiles, 18 HAWK surface-to-air missiles and two batches of HAWK parts to Iran to raise money to fund the nun-raping Nicaraguan Contras is, if it's not treason?
Ronald Reagan should have died in prison over this shit and his entire administration should have been removed for it. As far as running the country, I would have taken the governor of the largest and smallest states with Democratic governors and the largest and smallest states with Republican governors, and the dean of Harvard Law School, and formed a governing council to stand until a new election could be held. The Founding Fathers didn't build this into the Constitution, but they also didn't think they'd need to - do you think they envisioned the president selling guns to the enemy?
