New Hampshire Poll: Jeb Bush Grabs Narrow Lead

Source: Bloomberg.com

Jeb Bush has taken a slight lead over other potential Republican presidential candidates in a new Bloomberg Politics/Saint Anselm New Hampshire poll, even though his party’s voters have doubts about his famous last name and his positions on immigration and education.

Even if Bush should overcome those doubts to prevail in what is shaping up as one of the most wide-open Republican primaries in the state's recent history, the poll suggests that he is deeply unpopular with likely general-election voters. It's a worrisome sign for his campaign in a battleground state that both parties have targeted during the past several presidential elections.

I learned from looking at the poll results that there's yet another clown in the car - Mike Pence. Who the heck is he?

EDIT - I looked him up. Pence is the gov. of Indiana - http://dailysignal.com/2015/02/05/indiana-gov-mike-pence-gets-plum-spot-conservative-gathering/

Since I really never heard of Pence before about 10 min ago, I thought maybe it was a joke like the "Rob is a dingbat" choice in DU polls.

Bush isn't a foregone conclusion? I don't. He's the nom.

Might be tough for him to win with all the idiot Republicans out there, idiotized by FOX. That said, the field is strewn with them, diluting the idiot portion. This might be how Republicans are trying to get the most reasonable one elected, just assuring enough of the "Charman" crowed (wipers) into the race.

but never really got in when it started moving?

I think that it's going to be someone relatively unknown snuck in at the last moment. All of the clowns seem to be known and therefore despised by anyone with half a brain.

I promise you, the media will have everyone in the clown car take the lead for a week. Back and forth just to create a story. I don't think any of them can win a general election.

us alone with the damn polls" while I was in the act of posting one to DU. I agree there will be a LOT of polls between now and next year ones up one week ones up the other . Maybe even the guy at the tail end, Pence, will get a chance at the top. Just to make a different headline and generate clicks.

additional vehicles to transport the large field of wannabes that is forming. Of course they'll be scrambling to see which one gets to ride up front. Right now it looks like Jeb has claimed the crash test dummy position.

In 2012, the lead changed so often and so many times they needed a minute by mintue sports anouncer and score cards to keep up.

GOP robs us blind, fucks up the world a little more and then gets out, lets a Dem in to take the blame and fix the problems, once things are back on course, time to fuck the country and the world over again.
