what single issue best represents..

....the touchstone issue that the majority of Progressives can bond together with a single voice around.....bear in mind that in order to move forward we must hope to embrace voters that are in the so called middle as well as right.....please bear with me if this question appears too simplistic....I believe that our country has entered a renaissance period that must not be stifled by the powerful propaganda of a status quote....QWS has propelled many of the current themes into the national spotlight however the image of the movement is controlled by those that deliver the message to the nation....once again "change" will be at a competitive disadvantage....I'm hoping that by filtering a few ideas through this group we might be able to expedite issues directly to a wider base .....If anyone is interested I'll be glad to share my idea on the next step that many in the OWS should be focusing on.....best wishes

That can cover everything from all the people that have had their first amendment rights violated(the violators should face consequences) to the fact that poverty is growing rapidly in this country.

are my single issues at this time. I refuse to go back to the time when old people were destitute and died because they could not afford health care.

....I know that its a rather ambiguous question but I am contemplating an initiative that takes advantage of "grass roots" federalism.....the "boots on the ground" approach by OWS has garnered much (media)attention but runs the risk of negative attention or possibly no attention... I don't don't know which would be worse.....I keep hearing an undercurrent of possibly increased violence this spring with the blame inevitably resting upon OWS.....in the spirit of non-confrontation I want to ask activists to consider their city/town councils as the incubators of change.....If I recall correctly "Roberts Rules Of Order" is the protocol that deliberative bodies address each other with in local meetings.....New discussion minutes are allowed so that issues can be brought forth....Imagine all of the QWS activists across the country delivering the exact same discussion request/topic to their respective council members in as many cities as possible at the same time.....many new participates would increase the numbers geometrically.....This would get the RIGHT kind of attention for IMMEDIATE change and let the chips fall where they may.....The key ingredient of course is the webs networking resource.....In any case I hope to have this idea rolling soon under the title "American Spring".....I welcome any and all feedback...best wishes
