The Rs incompetence may give Ds opportunity after tax scam passes

Per Norman Ornstein

One piece of possible better news on the tax bill. It is so sloppy and full of holes that, as Kevin Brady said, it will badly need technical corrections next year to avoid serious issues and disruptions. Dems can/should demand many concessions before agreeing to do so.

They are passing it through reconciliation.
That requires that it be deficit neutral
By all accounts and analysis it is adding a trillion (give or take) to the deficit.

How is this happening then? I know everyone is saying that they are "going to" end up cutting the social safety net, but is that in the actual tax bill?

I mean are the dems forcing them to go through the reconciliation process or is that just something that everyone is saying but they are not actually doing it that way, and instead just going around the fillibuster like they did for the Gorsuch nomination?

I lifted it from Jackie's post last night.. I'd seen it before, recently attached to what Hillary was involved in. But, I can't remember where.. darn it.
