Clergy & Pastors Are The Most Corrupt And Sexually Abusive In Society.

Based on what we are seeing recently the most amoral creatures on the public scene are clergy and pastors. I will bet that sexual harassment, abuse and amorality reside in that sector in epidemic proportions. They can hide behind religion. And there is a cult of secrecy like in most police departments.

Every day we see more and more how corrupt the leadership of these churches (businesses are). Corruption is particularly common in the RW churches that are really NOT churches. Look at all the leadership that is worth millions and billions of dollars. They pay no taxes on the contributions to their churches.

People tend to forget that when John Dalberg-Acton said that, he was talking about Church as well as State.

There have been - and are - people with representative power or are in leadership positions who have no problems giving it up once they see the goal completed, but there are way too many people who apply for the job for the power over others.

The key to determining a what sort of person someone with power is to find out if that person can step away from that power once they start seeing the love of power taking over their own judgment.

Listings almost daily.

The 2 women who run the blog 'thewartburgwatch.com' started the blog in NC nearly 10 yrs ago. They have dedicated it to pointing out and discussing clergy and other church leaders' sexual, emotional, and physical abuse of women and children. Many commenters add discussions of their personal experience of church abuse.

A grandson of Billy Graham is a former FL state prosecutor of sex crimes committed vs children. He has stated that the clegy sex abuse scandal among Evangelicals is much worse than what has been revealed in the Catholic church.

It also includes the husbands. That is because it is dogma that a woman must submit to their husband. They do not believe in rape in a marriage. A woman cannot say no anytime.

US Bureau of Justice Statistics, using data from the 2015 National Crime Victimization Survey has US public school teachers as the most sexually abusive career, numbers-wise (assuming you're referring to rape, sexual assault, et.al.).

"Based on what we are seeing" is meaningless when bias clouds your judgement... as you'll then see whatever it is you're looking for-- even if it doesn't exist.

Broken down by denomination, geography, etc. If this could be provided and data supported it would be a major hit to religion. Then I could throw this here where I live that calls themselves the city of churches.
