I've not seen a kind word about her here at least since the election, and I'm not sure I saw praise of her before then.

But people here really need to stop obsessing about her. She is not the reason Hillary isn't our President. Really, she's not.

The Green Party has now thrown two presidential elections to the GOP. It's a little strange that you are here defending them and criticizing people for taking the Green Party to task.

And I'm not defending her. I was a strong Bernie Sanders supporter who remains very disappointed that he didn't get the nomination. But I voted for Hillary.

The reason Hillary Clinton isn't President today is that we have this ridiculous Electoral College thing, not Jill Stein or anyone else. It made sense back in the 18th century, but no longer does. Blame the guys who wrote the Constitution.

But those things require constitutional amendments to change.

The Green Party not throwing elections to the GOP only requires some idiots to get their heads out of their asses.

The Green Party and anyone else who spouted the lie that there's no difference between the parties shares complicity in the outcome of the last election. And if you didn't see that lie being spread all over DU before the election, you really weren't paying attention.

And anyone who tried to say there is no difference between the parties invariably got shut down in some way or another. Not necessarily tombstoned, and not necessarily having posts removed, but there was always plenty of pushback.

Again, if you look at the numbers Hillary didn't lose because of Jill Stein or any other third party candidate. Well, she did lose the EC in several states because Gary Johnson took more votes than the margin of her loss. People here should be complaining at least as bitterly about him.

There isn't just one reason why Hillary lost. The Green Party was one cause, but there were several others. The more important thing is, consistently, for two decades now, they have helped the GOP win elections, pushing the false narrative that both parties are the same, and pretending that they care about progressive policies.

There's no way to know for sure what would have happened if the Greens and Bernie or Bust people, instead of campaigning against Hillary (and therefore in favor of Trump), had instead campaigned for her and against Trump. Based on how close the election was, it seems likely to me that without the support of the Green Party, Trump wouldn't have won. But even if that's not the case, it's still worth pointing out that the Greens are allies of the GOP, because there are many people who don't understand that.

As far as Gary Johnson, it's not clear that he pulls more Ds than Rs, probably the other way around. And more to the point, he doesn't claim to support progressive policies, only then do everything in his power to help the GOP, like the Greens do. But sure, if you want, go ahead and start an OP taking Gary Johnson to task.

It means to con your supporters into giving you money for a bullshit cause, taking that money and hiding in your own account. For example, Moore is Jill Steining his supporters right now because he wants to investigate for election fraud in the race he lost.

I have supported a few Republicans in my life, but I'm sure they could be counted on the fingers of one hand, and this is since, let me count, 1970.

Anyone who is still a Republican at this point in time, given its trajectory since at least the Reagan years, does not deserve support by any progressive. If they are good people, let them switch to some other party. The Democratic party, unless they live in a place where a third party is not a spoiler.

There is no difference between Mrs Clinton and the Donald. That is what we were told by the Greens. I am willing to bet that these were not Clinton priorities. There was clearly a lesser of two evils ( and I saw very little evil in Mrs Clinton) but for those who saw more evil in her than I did, REMEMBER THIS, there is a lesser of two evils. Wasting your votes helped bring us the greater of the two evils and look where we are now
