Did anyone really think Rubio would ever vote NO on the tax bill?

Really? You've got to be a total political rube. Rubio is a total opportunist. He got into the headlines, he's now got something to use in his next campaign ads (Marco Rubio fought for YOU!), but there was never, ever a chance that Rubio was actually going to vote against Hair Trumpmeister.

He just doesn't care. He's grabbing all the cash he can now, making sure his kids get to inherit his wealth tax-free. He's a shameless, disgusting...fool? No, he's not a fool. He's a brilliant con man who cares about no one but himself.

He's trying to have it both ways. With the Puerto Rican infusion into Florida, the state's demos will change, so he needs to start moderating messaging and every now and then give the appearance of being mindful of those less fortunate. As someone else noted, this is all posturing to look fair and balanced with EVERY intention of going along with it in the end. Florida WILL shift purple.

Everybody knew this was the case.

It's highly unlikely that he wouldn't get it, he may have even negotiated the whole thing before hand, who knows.

Not for one second. He'll do what he's bribed/ordered to, and we can all guess it's never in our best interests.
