People who choose not to have children should be respected. People who can't have children also need to be respected.

I am aware and unfazed by the enormous amounts of pro baby propaganda thrown at us daily.

We had one child and were clear we only wanted one. I swear we weren't even out of the hospital before my family started asking when we planned on another one.

7 years later, I still get shit, from family, friends, coworkers, at least once a weekabout how we just HAVE to have another one.

They might have kids, they might not.

I get asked all the time about "grandbabies." It's uncomfortable. I just smile and say *if* they have kids it will be on their own timetable.

I have told my daughter that my sense of identity does not revolve around being a grandma. It's totally good, whatever they decide.

what kind of children Is Paul looking for?

in America today it seems to me you’ve got millions of poor people struggling to support themselves let alone children, and some rich people who may be too busy with their careers and materialistic lifestyles to properly raise stable kids, and wealthy congressman lecturing the former for making irresponsible choices...taking healthcare away from sick kids..

If you think children are important to our future, Paul, better start acting like it.

In 2007, Japan's health minister spewed this: "The number of women aged between 15 and 50 is fixed," Mr. Yanagisawa, 71, said. "Because the number of birth-giving machines and devices is fixed, all we can do is ask them to do their best per head."
