Alabama voter conspiracy theorist has his ass handed to him.

Hours after Doug Jones upset Roy Moore in Alabama’s special election, the far right began cooking up conspiracy theories about busloads of voters being brought in from out-of-state.

How likely is that scenario?

“I used to write cons & heists for a living,” John Rogers, co-creator of the show “Leverage,” wrote on Twitter. “And very few things piss me off like sloppy heist plotting. And racism. So this is a two-fer.”

Rogers picked apart the conspiracy theory until there was nothing left.

Here’s his thread:

6. It's all so logical

But this isn't what will change these peoples minds. Logic doesn't matter. Only the things that reinforce their beliefs is what they hear. It sounds good to hear the logical for those who work at that level, but it is only that.

When it doesn't work for them anymore is when they will wake up and that only rests with their connection to others- when those around them don't reinforce their beliefs. How we can do that? Reject the premise. Don't argue or discuss. Just a rejection. It is up to them to explore why--the only way that they would learn. Social rejection-sad- but the only shock that matters. Chip at the edges.

Said illegal aliens speaking "Mexican" were at her polling place,
and told her they were paid to vote for the "Democrat" party.

That was on air right after Moore lost.

She demanded an investigation of the election.

9. Voter ID Laws

The thread was nice, but he could have ended it early by just starting off with Alabama has strict voter ID laws. Please someone explain to me how busloads of black people are going to stroll into Alabama when they have to have government issued IDs in order to vote. In addition, it seems that a person's ID address has to match their home address. How exactly are these busloads of people going to get address that match their IDs?

they went to extraordinary lengths to make sure that African-Americans did NOT get to vote. To suggest that it would be possible to cheat the system from the "other" side is rediculous at best.

They'll say anything.

What'll it be when they lose the House and Senate next year? Alien abductions?

12. So if black voters exceeded their population percentage in this election it means that

there was voter fraud this time?

If thats the logic, wouldn't it also mean that in all the other elections where the white vote exceeded their population percentage, there was also voter fraud?
