Bruce Poliquin (2nd District ME) is up for reelection next year. We've got some really good Dem candidates vying for his seat. I'm really excited about Lucas St. Clair, who almost single-handedly established the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument.

He lives in Portland and is moving to the second district solely to run for the seat. The Republicans are going to attack him for that so hard. I'm hoping Jared Golden beats him out. He's young, a veteran, House Minority Leader, and has a strong record of being pro-labor and having labor support. And he grew up in the district, went to college in the district, and still lives there.

As for Collins, we really need to start looking for a good candidate who can do well statewide. Troy Jackson would be ideal but I think he's happy in the Maine Senate.
