Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) suggests that Doug Jones (D-AL) change his party affiliation to the GOP.

On 'Morning Joe' today, Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) - chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee - suggested that Alabama Senator-elect Doug Jones (D-AL) affiliate himself with the "true representative party of Alabama," the GOP.

I suggest that Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL), the senior US Senator from Alabama, re-affiliate himself with the party that got him into national office in the first place (1978): the Democratic Party.

Cory, put that in your crack pipe and smoke it.

3. Is it true that Shelby might not be running for re-election?

If so there is nothing for him to lose by re-affiliating himself with the Democratic Party.

4. After the results of yesterday's vote in AL, many of the GOP Senators, like him, might want to swap.

about Republicans pushing their people too far to the right? Why is it that only Dems seem to get this sort of treatment?

I'm sure Jones knows Alabama and how best to represent the state better than any of those mushy talking heads.

And that the Democratic governor of Colorado name a Democrat to replace him.

and that "the true representative party of Alabama" nominated Roy Moore to begin with. Hey, I know that Jones won't be a Massachusetts or NY liberal, but hopefully he will be with the democrats enough to hinder the Trump agenda.
