1. Democrats have turned 34 elected offices this year

Democrats have seen a huge uptick in women filing to run for office while Republicans have seen the number of women filing for office next year go down. Remember all those rallies all over the country earlier this year? The ones that the naysayers wouldn't make any difference down the line? We were told over and over again that the pussy hats and the anger and the motivation and the passion were all just one-offs, and that the Republican stranglehold was unbreakable.

I'm glad some of us didn't listen to that bullshit. And hey look! There are people (even right here at DU) who think we need to let all these accusations against Donald Trump go because it's just not fair. But look how we're not letting it go? Who do we think we are, anyway?

2. All but one of these seats are bright red districts/states.

Next November, Republicans in purple and blue seats are going down in a huge way.
