Jones Victory Dampened by the loss of Al Franken in the Senate

As a former prosecutor, I would put Jones in Franken's Judicial Committee spot.

then pivot back to a fight to save Franken. I don't believe this is irreversible. Franken resigned because he lost the support of his colleagues. His colleagues could return to sanity, examine each specific accusation, and acknowledge that due process is a democratic value.

Still think there's hope for Franken though... I mean, all we're asking for is a fair hearing on the accusations. Is that REALLY asking too much?!
