one lesson to take from tonight

the 50 state strategy STILL WORKS. We need to be involved as a party in EVERY state, even and especially the ones we write off.

If we campaigned in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin the way we did in Alabama, Hillary would probably be president! Heaven help us, we need to play like this is 2018 and 2020!

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Hell, we can't win in places where we don't even run or even have a party office.

People complain about Perez & Co, but that's two big wins in southern states. I'd say he's doing OK so far.

It feels right to support our candidates wherever they are. And tonight it paid off in a way that was more important than we imagined at the start of this campaign.

Give and keep giving in the way you are able because Dems *can* win everywhere.

Joe Trippi did a fantastic job and we need his help, as well as Dr. Dean's to begin to chip away at the Republican strongholds in the South.

Because to me, this is bigger than red v. blue. It's a race against time and the human legacy on this world is losing that battle.

to show some gratitude to the African American women who have been so loyal to the Democrats. I still think African American women should have been Times Person of the year. They tried to save us from Trump and helped Democrats become victorious in Virginia and now Alabama.
