Not directly. Right now, Rosenstein can do it, but only for cause. I think Sessions may be a bit more jeopardy.

The only people that could override that firing would be Congress or SCOTUS, and that’s not going to happen — at least not until they finish killing off what little is left of the New Deal and giving a few trillion to the wealthiest people in the history of the world.
