Hopefully the tide is turning.
It looks like Doug Jones is the newly elected senator from Alabama. While my own senator is planning to resign (I wish he wasn't), I'm heartened by a red Senate seat going blue. Now is the time to work toward 2018. I'm looking to Governor Dayton to make the right choice tomorrow.
I'm not trying to be negative, but I'm a Minnesotan and we tend to be cautious.
