A jury vote has nothing to do with the Electoral College
When I hear Sarah Huckabee and other administration officials and Trump apologists say that "the American People already litigated the sexual misconduct allegations against Donald Trump."
Let's get something straight, we do not adjudicate criminal or civil charges by elections. We do that by jury. But if these allegations against Trump are decided in the court of public opinion, that jury found him guilty by 54% to 46%. If you voted against Trump, and that includes all votes, not just Hillary votes, he lost overwhelmingly.
Every jury, including the "court of public opinion", is decided by a unanimous vote for a criminal charge, but just a majority of the jurors' votes for a finding for or against the plaintiff. Since Trump not only didn't win the popular vote, and his side wants to use election results as proof of Trump's innocence, doesn't the fact that more people voted against him prove his guilt? After all, there is no Electoral College in a jury room.
