The 6 phases of Trumps plan to fire Robert Mueller

President Trump is now ready, willing and able to fire special prosecutor Robert Mueller. It's a matter of when, not if. The warning signs have been accumulating since Trump decided not to fire Mueller last summer, and now alarm bells are ringing.

New York Magazine’s Jonathan Chait says Mueller’s investigation is in "mortal danger." E.J. Dionne Jr. of the Washington Post says the campaign to fire Mueller is pushing us "closer to the precipice" of lawlessness.

And the Republicans who once said firing Mueller was unthinkable or sure to lead to impeachment have fallen silent. Indeed, Trump critics on the right who might have spoken in Mueller’s defense have signaled their allegiance to the president, not the law. Last week, the editors of the Wall Street Journal said Mueller has a "credibility problem" and should resign.

4. I think Mueller has moved investigation and indictments too far along for Trump to close it down now

So many revelations have come out exposing the direct contacts with Trump gang and Russians and Wikileaks and email evidence provided to Congress proving how much they all lied to conceal their contacts. I think too much incriminating information has been uncovered for Trump to be able to stop the probe without repercussions. The Fox news, WSJ and far right Congresscritter spin is intended to sway public opinion in order to delay serious impeachment consideration when more damning indictments are announced, which appears imminent considering the speedy progress the Mueller team seems to be making with interviews and subpoenas.

if Mueller would be fired, i truly think it would be a bigger story than 9/11...You'd have a president who has a pattern of firing people investigating him (Preet Bahara, Sally Yates, Jim Comey, etc).....It's almost the equivalent of a mob boss on trial and he starts knocking off witnesses and jurors...
