CNN had video, and he looked like he was going to bounce off the horse when he broke into a slow run. (I don't think it was a cantor; too fast, I think.)

His body never looked lined up like a proper rider, and his legs were almost completely straight.

14. The few times I have seen video

of this asshole riding I cringe and feel so sorry for the horses he rides. I have seen little children ride horses that are taking off with them ride them better with not a single lesson. Pulling back on her face he kicks her to move forward then leans back, off balance and still keeping a tight rein. What the hell does he think he is asking her to do? This guy strikes me as the type that reins her up at home and puts her in her place with a 2x4.

with the horse, except for her mouth, from what I could see. When she ran, you could see his body bouncing, off center, and looking like he didn't know how to communicate with the horse.

I have seen people blocked from shows, just riding around, who got cornered and had the "discussion" about how they are treating their horses. Real cowboys would NEVER do that to their horse. I learned from real cowboys and even in the times of hard riding with a herd of cows there was never a reason to treat their animal like that.

He seems to kick to go (I hope he does not wear spurs) and then pull her back when she runs from his roughness. Poor thing. He probably rides a small horse, she almost looks pony size, just so he can get away with that easier. I would love to see what he would do with one of my big quarter horses bred and raised and trained as cutters, or more exactly what they would do with him.
