I guess you can't blame them, since their contracts push them into the top 1%, at least financially.

Perhaps Sir Charles is mellowing in his dotage.

then, 20 yrs ago or so, they went full on urban rap and I couldn't bear to watch it.

Then, the Sonics left Seattle and the last little bit of desire I ever had to watch the game left with them. Now, I don't even check the standings.

I was mad CRAZY in love with Rick Barry. But Pistol Pete was my man. Yeah I was a two timing 13 year old! I love roundball. Hope Sir Charles brings Jones some good MOJO!

He said back in 2006 he was a rep till they lost their minds.

Nobody pays attention though so maybe the reps will listen to him, lol.

I remember him a few years ago when there were a few "sane" Repubs left. What I said about pro athletes is true, though. At least it has been over the years. In some ways, you can't fault them. When you score a big paycheck like they do, it's kind of natural to join up with folks who promise to "protect" it.

Props to Sir Charles, anyway, for supporting a rational candidate.
