It came exceedingly close, but only destroyed one house in our street -- there are entire neighborhoods not far away that were wiped off the map.

The fire is chewing its way up the coast, tho, and our adult kids in Santa Barbara are under voluntary evacuation.

But there ain't no global warming, 80 degree temps in December are normal, and Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a dinosaur.

all the Thomas fire news.

I have gotten all the evacuation notices on my cell phone. Folks I know who have been evacuated send out emails and texts letting us know what is going on with them.

A private person can only repeat what they read from the news about the fire and cannot report up to date news.

I would not pay this person to do that.

I have read your posts which I consider first hand news like I get from friends affected by the fire.

I had this conversation with my kids. I felt they needed to consider if they could find jobs when choosing a major. And they did. I didn't force them but strongly suggested it. You have to make a living. Some folks do what they love as a hobby or volunteer work. Some of my daughter's friends...majored in theater and communications. It is very hard to find a job in those fields...although I think both are undervalued. The kids are mostly working now, but not in their field. The theater major was told she had to work for free in order to have an entry level job. She couldn't afford that. They started a bit lower out of their fields, but will be fine in the end.

Nadin was kicked off of DU for being downright nasty to this community for most of the time she was here. It's well documented by admin in ATA and the hate mailbag.

I understand she met the same fate at JPR. They didn't wait thirteen years, though.

Nadin is a survivor. Another career is right around the corner, and she'll be the best at whatever that is.

Subject: Password

I know you probably do not want me back, It is mutual.

Can you send me the password reset so I can do that, basic fucking cyber security, and i can move on and away from your fucking DLC site? I know I am not the only actual liberal who will stay away from your neoliberal site, At least be honest who you want to cater to. But seriously, you say you were hacked, you insist people reset their passwords... basic cyber security. If you were hacked or not it is really not my business, nor do I care.

I really do not care for your type, the Limousine insider DC, so called liberal. but really, basic cyber security.

Oh and I have tried using your fucking system to reset it and move on at least 5 times, one from Mexico incidentally during a shive. (the week of mourning in the Jewish tradition, I do not expect you to know that)

Nadinbrezezinski is my fucking user name.

Incidentally, I told your fucking party it was making a Weimar level mistake when you nominated HRC, enjoy that. I told you guys you were doing that before you did that before the primaries were over, and incidentally, my ROV used white out in San Diego to erase Sanders votes, welcome to the Torta effect. (yes it went to court by the way, and the ROV lost)

It is YOUR FUCKING PARTY. Neither democrats or republicans represent me, a simple working class media person that called Trump a fascist. But I am a working class member, and I get it why he got elected. But your party chose to steal the primaries. You are as guilty as the SDs were for the same fucking mistake at the twilight of the Weimar Republic. Historians are sure to call it exactly that.

But can I get that, so I can fucking move on?

Thank you.

Tue Dec 12, 2017, 07:45 PM

She may have been a DUer, but she was not a friend to the community, nor the Democratic Party. In fact, she was extremely nasty to most here, hilariously lording over others with her bizarre "bonafides". This is, above all, a private gathering of individuals with like interests and with rules. She overstayed her welcome and self-banished, before writing the above screed - for which she was finally, and thankfully, banned. Banned DUers have violated the TOS of this site and it's not at all unbecoming to enjoy a bit of schadenfreude at their expense.

BTW, this was not her "business". She is still, as far as I know, a "reporter" for a San Diego penny-saver. This OP is about her blog. That she is unable to keep it going is likely a reflection of her inability to write interesting, timely and coherent articles.

While you're at it, wanna make a statement about the flies?
