Medicare & Social Security Viewed As Welfare By GOP, McConnel And Ryan. It Should Pay For Tax Cuts
The meme being pushed by the GOP in Congress is that because Social Security is part of the general fund it should help pay for the tax cuts. They really do to believe that Social Security and Medicare belong to seniors the way they frame it as an entitlement. IN fact they view veterans' care the same way.
We are in a double think era where everything is upside down and backwards. Reality is now convoluted and twisted so much that lies and truth have the same meaning and value and both are reality.
In essence the cuts that the GOP wants really is taking future deductions and funneling that money directly to the rich and corporations. THEY ARE REALLY STEALING FUTURE TAX DEDUCTIONS IN THIS TAX BILL. Then to add to the insult they want to make Medicare a voucher which makes the deductions pointless. Then they want to make it 70 years old before you can get it. That means buying regular insurance for another 5 years. They also would means test your Medicare and Social Security so if you have another pension or too large other 401K or perhaps a house you will get reduced or not benefits or larger premiums to offset those assets.
Their Social Security plan turns Social Security into a 401K plan. So when you retire you will only have so much money in your account that will cause you to take less money that you would have gotten so you so not run out of your account. THEN THEY WILL WANT TO TAX THAT MONEY like a 401k on top of that. So most of your deductions would also go to bank fees over time if they structure it like a 401k. Chances are that they would turn over management of the funds to the banks.
What they want to do is COMPLETE RAPE AND PILLAGE OF SENIORS.
