Condoleezza Rice heard the blast at 16th St. Baptist Church in Sept. 1963. She was friends with Denise McNair. She won't endorse the man who prosecuted the killers of those four little girls? I'm sad for her.

"This week's special election will be one of the most significant in Alabama's history. As a native daughter, I remain - at heart - an Alabaman who loves our state and its devotion to faith, family, and country," Rice stated.

"I encourage you to take a stand for our core principles and for what is right. These critical times require us to come together to reject bigotry, sexism, and intolerance.

There no way she's referring to Roy Moore. I'm not sure what, if any, calculation went into her making that non-specific plea. She must be afraid of members of her own party turning on her and lumping her in with Pres Obama, etc. But if Shelby could do it, so could she.
