(38,502 posts)Possibly, some Democrats are not.
Due process. We should all expect and demand it.

(37,648 posts)it changed to become "Republican." Not sure what "Independent Republican" is, but it's not your regular Republican, and wouldn't be a Trumper.
Republican Senator Bill Cassady (La.) also made a comment, when asked, that he thought there would be some sort of ethics investigation or something, and looked concerned. Or something like that.

(18,402 posts)Okay, this is an inside joke for those who lived in Minnesota during Arne Carlson's governorship. He ran a primitive cartoon ad with a catchy jingle that ended each verse of the song with "That Darn Arne!"

(17,569 posts)It was his DFL opponent, John Marty. It backfired because it was funny, and people thought it was from Carlson himself.
I so associated it with him that I forgot after all these years. Hell always be that darn Arne to me anyway.

(37,648 posts)I've heard of others in the Senate that took 3 years
Sen. Menendez was just tried for a financial crime...I would htink he went thru an ethics investigation. I'll have to look that up and see if he did and how long it took.

(293 posts)had some very good Liberal Democrats, they have had some Jackasses. I also read that some of the elections were won by a razors edge. Any state that could elect Jessie Ventura is troubling to me.
