Imagine if we had a liberal version of Donald Trump in the White House.

If he had gotten elected, and there was all of these questions about connections with Russia and the election. There was an investigation and all these lies were then exposed. Then people started getting indicted and turning against the president. Would most of us act like the Republican base? I'm pretty sure I would think,"My god get this guy out of office before he destroys the country and the party". I also don't think MSNBC would defend him the way Fox News is defending Trump.

Especially the White House Press Corp. They treat him like he's normal when it's clear as day, he isn't.

I cringe when they call him "President Trump." I always notice when they leave off the "president" part. As far as I'm concerned, the only way they should be calling him "President Trump" is if they use air quotes - since he didn't actually "win" and he is the least "presidential" individual we've had in our history. A president is supposed to work to make things better for the American people, not tougher.

There is no liberal version of a right wing guy. We have never had the chance to go that far left.

liberals demand results. Universal Healthcare, job creation, poverty programs. Just rattling conservative cages would not be enough

A favorite quote from Neal Rogers/ radio host in Miami: the difference between Miami and Chicago is in Chicago, you get services with your corruption dollars.

They are really good at making average Amuracans think all liberals are corrupt with a few small examples of corruption when the really horrendous and treasonous crimes are being committed by the accusers.

They only need one example to discredit a liberal (no matter how weak the example is), even though they get away with the same things with impunity.

Why are we not demanding that every journalist who floated the birther idea be sanctioned?

and he was the mirror image of the PGIC.....signing all kinds of PROGRESSIVE stuff into being. And no one being able to stop it and having a liberal congress that went right along with him. Yes, the kind of stuff that helped American instead of destroying it.

Edit: misspelled a word

All Democrats, bar none, whatever my personal disagreements with them, have a WORK ETHIC. They don't watch TV all day, they show up on time (and often stay late), etc. And of course, they simply do not have those ties to Russia or any other authoritarian that Trump does. But you are right about Fox News. We all know that is the propaganda wing of the Republican Party. And that is the main problem we have in this country. It all comes down to Fox.

As an aside, though, have you noticed that at least three out of the last four Republican presidents had no such work ethic? Reagan, George W. Bush and now Trump were all reported to show up late (Trump), leave early (Bush reportedly never did much past 5) or sleep during meetings (Reagan). I can't say much about George H.W. Bush, because honestly he was such a nothing as President.

When he was under investigation, several Democrats came out hard against him, most notably Joe Lieberman.
