Today I got a text reminding me to come to a fundraiser tomorrow for Senator Tammy Baldwin.
A few weeks ago Baldwin donated $20,000 she received from Franken’s PAC to the Women Veterans Initiative, an effort focused on advocating for at-risk and underserved women veterans. A few days ago she joined the crowd of Democratic Senators calling for his resignation.
She knows that Al Franken is a good man. He has been good to her. As a lawyer she knows that everyone deserves due process.
So I texted back that I wouldn't be coming - because she thew Senator Al Franken under the bus.
