How terrible I've gotten.

When I read the news about federal judge Alex Kozinski this morning, the first thing I did was google to make sure he was appointed by a Republican (yes, Reagan in 1985). Not thinking about his employees who he perved on for who knows how many years. Not wondering how his twisted moral character may have impacted hundreds of judicial decisions over the decades. Not what does this sort of revelation do to his family. But just, does it give the Republicans I argue with ammo to throw at me in a tribal argment, or does it give me ammo to throw at a Republican. That's some screwed up priorities.

I need to be a better person.

Of course the big take away is that this perv's been on the federal bench for 32 years. Power does terrible things to a man.

If it's a Democrat, party is identified prominently

If the party isn't mentioned at all, Republican

I don't get Faux on Sling but would expect the same from them

And OP, if you're aware of behavior you're not proud of and that motivates you to do something, I think you are already a better person
