Yeah, right every hunter has one.. I find John Bolton, in his mind and in his looks and his attitude towards woman revolting. but what he said here is about weapons used for recreation and hunting....too many of them are not those kind.
Moreover, there is a world of difference between weapons for military campaigns and those used for recreation and hunting. The U.S. has a long history of respecting the individual ownership of firearms. It is against this legitimate tradition of private ownership that gun-control advocates are exerting their efforts.

Plus, even if it were ratified, the lawsuits would be endless. There is no prohibition against the Supreme Court ruling a treaty to be unconstitutional, and I believe that there is a valid argument to be made that this treaty would be unconstitutional.
