and the claim that this is was planned event by the lefties to take away guns. As the pro-gun DUers have repeatedly stated over the last 36 hours guns are not going anywhere, if anything there will be a boost in gun purchases over the next few weeks. President Obama will not call for any changes in the gun control laws and Romney won't either.

It's Obama's plan to take away you're guns.
On some conservatives forum they buy into it lock, stock and barrel.
It's Obama's fault.
Then and again, isn't every thing Obama's fault.
I for one am still ticked off at Obama for forgetting to remind Noah to put the unicorns on the ark.

Suffering these fools in silence is unacceptable. A simple "That's ridiculous!" and changing the subject would have sufficed.

So when I encounter people like that I just talk to them in deliberate gibberish. I might have said something like this " Potato, patato, bunny." Next encounter might be. "Did you hear there are millions of people that don't exist in this country." or "Dang, I forgot to marshmallow, the lawn." Eventually the neighbor will stop talking to you. Unless, they understand what you are saying. In that case just back away slowly and don't make any sudden movements.

The Aurora shooting is a false flag operation orchestrated by Obama himself so that the UN Small Arms TReaty can more easily be adopted by the US and then oh noes all our guns will be confiscated.

The shooting was all staged, nobody died, the witnesses are all actors.

The motherfuckers who believe this shit took absolutely zero seconds to sympathize with the victims. You see, there were no victims. ( Or else they believe MKUltra made this guy do this ) . They've been waiting for the next lunatic to go off so they could make these insane claims.

They are very sick people. Their hatred knows no bounds, but is far exceeded by their stupidity

Yeah, I go there for my occasional dose of crazy. The nutcase had this to say on the homepage:

The Christian Post reported that the mass murderer James Holmes was heavily involved in his local Presbyterian church.

In 2012, the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) passed a resolution, by a lopsided vote of 353-150, reaffirming its support of evolution. In October of 2011, the Presbyterian Church USA ordained its first homosexual "minister".

Did James Holmes attend a evolution and homosexuality promoting/condoning liberal "church" or a Bible Presbyterian church which are fewer in number? Darwinism has a bloodstained legacy and has been linked to a decline in morality.

People on web sites trying to score points by assigning the blame on various political ideologies. Crazy, right?

I didn't live with that sort of mentality daily.

I am a liberal and I make no bones about it. I fell in love with a self proclaimed libertarian two and a half years ago. The road between has has been fraught with ideological differences which will probably not withstand the long term commitment we were both seeking.

She is an Alex Jones, Glenn Beck, Fox News Loving supporter that laps up whatever falsehood or mis-truth that is spoken or reported. And she absolutely loathes President Obama. She blames all of of our society's ills at this man's feet, which is so ridiculous that I can't (although I've tried!) make her see how non-sensical it is.

Of course, she is a gun owner and proudly so. She doesn't want any government interference in regulating the control of them...which we have had numerous 'conversations' about.

She would rather hijack her own best self interests along with the rest of us that live here than vote for a President and it turn, a more even (or hopefully left leaning) Supreme Court..by the very fear that dictates her life.

Seems a bit deep for a first post...but the week has kind of dictated more somber personal reflection due to the serious nature of what is so wrong in this country right now.....
