The bottom line in all of this is Hillary Clinton is the legitimate

winner of the Presidency of the United States. Through manipulation, backstabbing collusion, treason, and encouragement from corrupt members of the Congress, she was cheated. Now moving on without another information discovery because we have enough. And OMG, we have no idea of the trove of information that Mueller has and has not revealed. I declare it to be so by the powers vested in me as a citizen of the United States of America. eom

the bottom line is that Trump's election was certified and he is the legitimate winner. We are in uncharted territory with respect to interference and collusion, there is nothing much in the constitution that applies and that would de-legitimize the election, other than the impeachment process, and that process would not result in Clinton becoming president.

As an aside, in the original construction impeachment would have resulted in Clinton becoming president, as originally the vice president was the person who came in second. 12th amendment changed that to the current system.

With all the evidence mounting of a conspiratorial coup hoisted upon us by Russia and the Trump campaign?? He's no more the LEGITIMATELY elected President than you or I am!! I will NEVER refer to him as legitimate - and I don't even need to wait for the results of the Mueller investigation - I have no doubt where it's headed!!

words have meaning. "legitimate": 1.conforming to the law or to rules.

If the op meant to use some other word, the op should have done so.

... with the fact that we MUST remember that Hillary was NOT "rejected by the majority" and that Hillary did NOT "lose fair and square". Those who try to discourage an honest discussion and evaluation of the historical FACTS have an anti-Hillary agenda. They believe that the party should embrace some "other" philosophy.

PS: I'm always amused when someone tosses out a non-sequitur of "thanks for making my point" at someone who (in reality) did no such thing. It's a way for someone to falsely declare themselves the "winner" of a disagreement and then not so gracefully bail-out of the conversation.

2018 is the next big contest. Hillary is out of the picture. Bernie is out of the picture. Neither will be the standard bearer in 2020. It's time to be looking for new candidates to defeat the GOP in future elections.

13 months have already passed. It's time to look ahead.

always next time. Then well have the most perfect, awesomest candidate who will mop the floor with them!"

Meanwhile, the republicans keep getting away with it, again, and again, and again...

This time it was the most blatant, glaring cheating by them. It seems that with each cycle they just get bolder with their shenanigans

And why not? If trump is removed, there's always pence and ryan, etc. Why would they stop their dirty game when it works so well for them?

Trump is illegitimate because of Kremlin's interferance & all out assault on our US Govt.

Pretty much nothing legitimate about that, is there.

The Democratic party is doomed unless "Big money" is taken out of politics. The repugs will sell out their own beloved mothers and children generation after generation because "big money" is more important than country. They will sell out their own brethren for a piece of silver just like "Judas".

Always make me want to ask what’s makes anyone think HRC is the “legitimate” president. Trump won the electoral college, which is how we elect presidents, and there’s no evidence that a single vote was flipped from HRC to Trump. There certainly wasn’t a “coup” or “treason,” not the way those words are commonly understood.

Well he thought he was, the law of the day said he was-but it turned out that he wasn't.

Legitimacy and legality are not always the same thing.

Ultimately the People determine legitimacy.
