Was Michael Flynn Asked to Wear a Wire?

The Guardian: “Section eight of the deal reached by Donald Trump’s former national security adviser in the inquiry into Russian meddling in the US election is entitled ‘cooperation.’ It specifies that as well as answering questions and submitting to government-administered polygraph tests, Flynn’s cooperation ‘may include … participating in covert law enforcement activities.’”

“Long-time students of federal law enforcement practices agreed, speaking anonymously, that ‘covert law enforcement activities’ likely refers to the possibility of wearing a concealed wire or recording telephone conversations with other potential suspects. It is not known whether Flynn has worn a wire at any time.”

Where in the timeline is this a possibility?

2. I wondered that too on Thxgiving Day,

the day after it was announced that the Trump lawyers and the Flynn lawyers were no longer having meetings... Maybe Flynn and his lawyers were wired up during these meetings with Trump's lawyers.

but that doesnt mean that he didnt use the opportunity to have outside conversations w people.

i would bet money he wore a wire.

3. Remember, Flynn offered deal in late spring. Then for the most part

he disappeared off the news.
It's possible he and Mueller worked out a deal and that was part of it. Mueller runs a tight ship and Flynn wasn't anyplace in sight for a long time.

Maybe this is when he was wearing a wire to help verify his story.

and anybody stupid enough to talk to him at any time after his lawyer started floating a deal should be impeached or removed for their obvious stupidity.

But since they only did it in the last two weeks, we would only have a short window for tapped information.

I think it's more likely they've had a FISA wiretap on his phone for a long time.
