" WE HAVE TO PASS IT SO YOU CAN FIND OUT WHAT IS IN IT " - SAME FUCKING THING !!

Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) said Sunday that there is no guarantee she will vote for Republican tax reform legislation once it comes out of a conference committee with the House, despite her support of the Senate version.

“No, I mean obviously I want to see what comes out. I believe that the amendments I added on medical expense deductions, on property tax deductions, on helping retirement security for employees improve the bill," Collins said on NBC's "Meet the Press."

It took a super-majority of 60 Democrats in the Senate to get it started!

It took months to get it to a final vote!

...dozens of PUBLIC (not closed door) hearings and mark-ups, nearly 200 republican amendments were adopted and there were hours and hours of floor debate. Anybody who wasn't paying attention or claims they didn't know what was in the bill is full of shit and didn't want to know what was in the bill.
