There is a special place in hell for Orrin Hatch .....

I know Hatch has been a top notch, class A asshole and prick his entire career... but this is really too much to take

This quote is from the same night he voted for a trillion dollar tax cut for the super rich.

And keep in mind, in this quote he is talking about CHILDREN who need healthcare

Un fucking believable! Hell fire and damnation can't come fast enough for this arrogant shit heal ...

@SenOrrinHatch on CHIP:

“I have a rough time wanting to spend billions and billions and trillions of dollars to help people who won’t help themselves – won’t lift a finger – and expect the federal government to do everything.”

Mormon hell = separation from God/light (they refer to it as outer darkness, the only way to go there is to 1) be a Mormon priesthood holder - all women go to heaven 2) have Jesus visit you in the fresh and 3) deny that Jesus is real).

My grandfather was an excommunicated Mormon(he left because he felt they didn't give women enough of a role, which was damn advanced thinking for a guy who worked in a saw mill in the Mill City, Oregon in the 1920s), and was told that in the next world, he wouldn't see-or maybe wouldn't recognize-his wife when she arrived.

Thanks for the information.

have the same attitude. They have extensive family networks and support and are doing well in life but are insufferable self-righteous, smug assholes with no apparent ability to feel empathy for those who haven't had the same advantages. I believe they get some or all of this attitude from their church or at least mormon society.

Oh, and they have tunnel vision hatred of HRC, a simple-minded view of the world, and spout ignorant faux-type talking points. I've stopped talking to them because I can't bear it.

Apologies to any lds who do display compassion and make the effort to be well informed.

Hatch should rot in hell... but... if those self-same "people who won’t help themselves" all got out to vote??????

men and women like Hatch live in a bubble and probably really believe what they say... no real critical thinking skills

My post is not very long, it's only four short lines, maybe you should read it again?

Or at least this ...

"And keep in mind, in this quote he is talking about CHILDREN who need healthcare "

Little kids can't vote.

And even if they could, Orrin Hatch just took their healthcare away, so right now those little kids are more worried about getting sick or hurt and not being able to go to the doctor

force us to help people vote, whatever it takes... Hatch is referring to families, even if it is the children who are in need of care, the entire family is affected... nothing will get better until most of us realize that we are all in this together and we must act to help each other at all times...

my first post still stands... I am not the enemy, I am the one looking for and acting on any possible solution to get Republicans out of public office and to help all of my neighbors and fellow citizens

Fact check: CHIP does not help families "who won't lift a finger", but rather families who earn too much to qualify for Medicaid, but too little too be able to pay for higher premiums. CHIP helps not the poor, but the middle class.

also has top notch health care. He has no idea what its like in the real world living pay check to pay check or trying to make it on minimum wage. He sits on his ass in DC (I believe it's a real cushy job) deciding our fate. Time for him to retire and live off his pension paid by us.
