Bipartisonship is dead in both Houses of Congress.

Likely has been dead for years, but the optimist in me hoped it was temporarily moribund. After last night in the Senate, it's clear that the Democrats and Republicans can't work together: the Democrats aren't able to and the Republicans refuse to.

Unless there is a long term of 60+ Senators, Republicans will continue run the same candidates, always going to the right.

McConnell has destroyed any working relations with the Democratic Party for decades in the Senate. Paul Ryan shot the same idea down last fall with his anti Hillary campaign.

Again,it was the Game Plan of the GOP from the get go.
