The internet was confused Saturday after Donald Trump’s notorious Twitter feed seemed to directly implicate the president in obstruction of justice.

In a tweet claiming “there was nothing to hide” the president acknowledged that he had knowledge that Mike Flynn had lied to the FBI at the time of his departure, which Trump mischaracterized as a firing when he had actually allowed Flynn to resign.
