I’ve never seen such a naked display of power in the U.S. Senate. The power of the uber rich, campaign donors and lobbyists over Republican senators as the Senate was still in session after one A.M. before it passed the tax cuts to the rich and tax hikes on the middle class. Such an act of cowardice has rarely been seen.
Keep calling your Representatives and Senator in opposition. The House and Senate versions still must be reconciled and re-voted. And yes, I’m disappointed and mad and scared and that’s why I’m not giving up.
