I used to be employed as a Behavioral Health Professional.

Worked with people clinically diagnosed as delusional, self-absorbed and in denial. Change rarely occurred unless there were catastrophic consequences felt personally by the afflicted (and often not even then.)
I can assure you the majority of hard-core trump supporters WILL NOT change their minds about him, even if they incur tremendous social and financial personal damage.
Delusion, denial, rationalization, minimization, etc., are all WAY too strong in these individuals. THEY ARE RIGHT and don't give a fuck what you have to say. Reason, logic and evidence be damned with these individuals; to be wrong threatens sense of self, culture, pride, ego, self-esteem, self-worth, etc.

How to address this?

1.) When you come to an obstacle, don't try to talk it out of moving: You're wasting your time. Go around it.
2.) GOTV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even then, some would rather die fighting to stay the same. It is a cultivated ignorance coupled with a "you're not the boss of me" attitude, a pathology with no known cure.

Some one will leave the mike on when he is saying what he really thinks about his base.
