A heartfelt thank you to Pelosi and Schumer.

This bill's passing hurt. We rightfully and angerly are trying to express how this legislation will devastate the country. Just wanted to point out that Pelosi and Schumer held their Democratic caucuses together for the second major vote this year.

Early this weeks there were stories that Manchin and Heitkamp were still open to voting for the bill. So I'd like to say thanks to Leader Schumer for once again holding the Senate Democrats together. Now this bill needs to be framed as solely a GOP or Republican Taxscam period.

This wasn't Congress, or the Senate or the House passing this legislation. The only part of our government that voted for this travesty were Republicans. Democrats, the Left, and the Media needs to call this Rebulican legislation and if they don't we need to call them out on it.

The House on Thursday passed its version of a tax bill, largely along party lines. Every Democrat voted no, but so did 13 Republicans, many of whom represent districts in high-tax states that could be particularly hurt by the repeal of the state and local income tax deduction.

Senate Republicans passed a $1.5 trillion tax bill early Saturday morning that bestows massive benefits on corporate America and the wealthy while delivering mixed blessings to everybody else.

After a frantic round of negotiations, Republicans came together in near unanimity behind the landmark legislation. The final vote was 51 to 49, with Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) the lone GOP holdout. No Democrats voted for the bill.

Centrist Democratic Sens. Joe Manchin (W.Va.) and Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.) are not ruling out voting for the Senate GOP tax plan, even though the chances of them doing so appear slim.
