He implicates no one in the White House.
He was only in the Administration for 25 days.
He was a Democrat that was in charge of the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) of the Pentagon under Barack Obama.
It appears that the White House has decided to minimize his contributions to the Trump Administration and to lie about any charges that may develop from his alliance with the Special Prosecutor.
Also, they are biding their time for the right moment that they can accuse Mueller of extra "partisanship" and demand that he step down or be fired?
That seems to be the new strategy from the White House.
They want to give the appearance of being calm and collected but, under the surface and behind closed doors, they are scared shitless.

The Velveteen Ocelot
(115,731 posts)And he doesn't know anything about government or law. So his lawyers probably can easily convince him that Flynn's guilty plea meant only that he confessed to Mueller's investigators that he lied to the FBI about his conversations with the Russian ambassador and that he didn't tell them anything else. Granted, the lies themselves are pretty incriminating, and certainly hint at "collusion," but by themselves don't clearly incriminate Orange Foolius. So he can throw his good friend Flynn under the bus and relax because he doesn't understand how federal prosecutors make plea deals: Flynn wouldn't have received that sweet deal, which will probably result in little or no prison time, unless he sang like Pavarotti and rolled on everybody. SCROTUS might not get that part, and it would appear that his lawyers aren't telling him.

Just heard Limbaugh while running errands
Trump fired Flynn which proves....something
He claimed Obama did NOT fire Flynn
Nothing to see here
The charge Flynn plead to would have been more severe if they had anything
No evidence of collusion (like a prosecutor would make that public)
Flynn talking to Russians is what he was suppose to be doing - he says it was during the transition and then played a sound bite of Brian Ross actually saying it was during the campaign
He kept going back to the charge not being significant enough to indicate the investigation had anything. THERE'S NOTHING HERE!!
